This morning started off bright and early. Amy and I hit the pavement at 7am for 7km intervals! Okay, so an exclamation mark is absolutely unnecessary since I am not the biggest fan of intervals. However, they are necessary so we do them anyways.
Warmed up for 15min, then we did 1min interval with 2min breaks, we did that 7 times, and finished off with another 10-15min cool down. Giving us a total of 7km!
Here’s a little something funny I stumbled across today, and if you’re a runner, avid gym-goer or anything of that sort, you will fully understand.
In other news: Victoria is officially rubbing off on me. Today I bought a toque from Sitka. Man, I love that place.
Here is a pic of mine and Max’s route to school. Purdy, no?
Another beauty shot from the top of Mt. Douglas. I really forgot how gorgeous everything is here. I’m glad I went to Ontario for a those 3.5 years because I don’t think I would appreciate the BC landscape as much as I do now if I hadn’t gone
Pretty spectacular.
And a picture from our neighbourhood – driving home from the grocery store the other day.
I also watched an incredible documentary today. Hungry For Change is all about our diet, and how sugar is so addictive. It’s really interesting about how we should be eating, what is best for our bodies, and how the food industry tricks us into eating foods that we think are healthy but are really terrible for us. Anyways, I won’t get into it because I could talk about it until the cows come home so make sure you watch it! It’s simply brilliant. And my goal is to save up for a fantastic juicer (or steal mum’s?) after watching this.
…watch the trailer to see if its something you might be interested in

Okay let’s just talk about how real that infogram is. I do my laundry every tuesday because I only have one one outfit I wear to soccer and my games are always late Tuesday night. So I do my laundry and maybe 4 shirts, if I’m lucky, come out that aren’t gym clothes. It’s a joke really.
All these pics are beautiful and I recently heard about that Hungry for Change and am dying to see it.
I know, hey? I saw it and thought this is beyondddddd the truth!! Definitely watch Hungry for Change – you will love it. It’s on Netflix now so if you have that watch it there!!
I loved that documentary! Everyone needs to watch it. Great run, and your landscape photos are awesomeee! I would love that school trail. Umm my wash is literally all workout clothes with maybe one “normal” shirt thrown in. Haha.
I am obsessed with Hungry for Change. I want a juicer so so so bad now!
Oooh I can’t wait to watch this documentary! Thanks for the tip!
No Problem! Its so great, you will love it!
Hey I think I may have got my scarf from Sitka…if not I do remember the store and that it is pretty awesome…Victoria is pretty cool…have you been to Roberta’s hats yet? They have some really nice handmade hats…i could probably buy the entire store!
Yeah Sitka is a pretty awesome store, especially since they now have a coffee shop attached to it! I love Roberta’s hats – SOOOO many!! They are super fun to try on
