Instead of hitting the pavement this morning, Amy and I met up at the gym at 630am. I haven’t ran on a treadmill in ages, but it was actually kinda nice! I loved plugging in the ol’ ipod, zoning out, and just running. We also did hills today and I didn’t hate them as much as I remembered!
hahaha, Amy brought her iPad because that’s where she had all her music. Died laughing when she pulled it out. Actionnn shot!
Once we left, it was a beauty morning and on my way home I just had to stop and snap a pic. I felt all content and happy because I a) had just finished hills (arch nemesis) and b) I had the ability to stand beside an ocean before 8am. The only other time you ever really feel like this is when you manage to successfully twist apart an Oreo so that the icing only sticks one side. Internal unexpected joy.
Hunger was in full force when I got home so I made a smoothie. I made chocolate heaven, I mean pudding heaven, I mean happiness in a bowl. FO REAl. I got this recipe from Amy and its SO good. ZOMG.
Chocolate Banana SmoothieI also added 1/2 an avocado to mine. We have way too many of them at home right now and they neeeeeeed to be eaten.
Man it was so good. SO good. Go make this right meow!
It was so nice out today too that I took out my Sperry’s! Haven’t worn these guys in ages either. I can’t tell you how weird it feels to be wearing shoes that I generally wear in the summer. It’s FEBRUARY.
Rewind to yesterday.. Amy and I went for a run along the water. It was an alright run. Generally we go at 7am, yesterday we went at 11am and it really wasn’t the greatest. Amy did make friends with a kitty so that was pretty much the only good thing that happened
And then we went to Lifestyle Market to pick up a few goodies, including these new drinks! They are made with whey protein and both of us are usually not a fan of whey but we gave it a go anyways. They were delicious and not too sweet, but as expected our stomachs didn’t love the whey. Oh well.
Then we stopped at Costco! I am heading home next week (YAY!) so Dora and Heinz (parents) sent me on a mission to buy cheese. That’s just what happens in a European family, you must love cheese.
And finally, last night I made the most ballin’ pizza. Max loved it. Seriously nothing betta than homemade pizza.
I’ll leave you with one final thing. I saw this the other day at What Should We Call Me aka the best tumblr ever, and I literally could not.stop.laughing. And pretty much sent it to everyone I know.

I lovee that Amy brought her iPad..so baller. I don’t know where I would put that thing though, plus I would be afraid of dropping it. I haateee the treadmill, but maybe going to the gym and having a treadmill buddy would be fun. I just went to that tumblr..so good!
haha i know, she is such a baller sometimes. So much flashy-ness for 630am, in the best way
Oh, that tumblr is so dangerous, its so funny and I could spend hours on it!
