Today marked BC’s first ever family day!!
My day started off fairly ordinary. Had a smoothie. These are recycled photos, but that’s pretty much what it looked like.
Shortly afterwards I met Amy downtown for a little girl time and retail therapy. Who doesn’t love that?!
We also went to Rogers Chocolates and got dark chocolate sea salt caramels. DIED. So good. So chewy. So decadent. So perfect.
I should have bought this pillow. I didn’t and am now having second thoughts. I find it ridiculously appropriate considering it was family day and all.
Later in the day, Max, Tyler, and I went to the inner harbour to stroll around. And to our surprise there was a Navy ship! This doesn’t happen every day and in my head I was thinking “hellooooooo Navyyyyyy Boiiiiiiiiiiiissss!!!!” – but seriously, what girl wouldn’t think that 
We also got to see Current Swell for FREE. Heck yes.
They are local boys so everyone loved ‘em

Sandy and I skyped tonight as well, which is of course no surprise. We do this pretty much everyday.

I live in a Navy town, which means Navy boys are GROSSSS to me!! They are all over the place and big horn dogs with greasy hair..blech!! I can understand your excitement though! I am digging this group!! I have never heard any of their music, but I LAveeee it! I love your Skype picture with Sandy..they are always so funny.
hahahaha! NO WAY! Ugh, see I never get close enough to ever really see their hair or any of that stuff. But apparently thats a good thing?!! I am currently obsessed with current swell (HA!), and just seeing them in person, and them chatting over the microphone was pretty great
